Your donation to the Emergency Fund allows us to be better prepared to handle disasters such as forest fires, outbreaks, or any number of things, so that we may continue our mission of providing excellent hospitality “as tall as our trees” to the over 50,000 guests we serve each year.

As a government designated essential service, our facilities and staff are available to serve the community when they need us the most.

We are currently serving 80 men and women enrolled in Redwood Gospel Mission’s addiction recovery program. By having the residents shelter in place at Alliance, the rescue mission is kept from being overcrowded and potentially becoming a place where the virus could spread.

This is an emergency and we will continue to actively pursue ways to meet our community’s needs.

Your gift of a scholarship will change a life, opening up the world of natural science to low-income and at-risk middle school youth who might not experience Outdoor Science Camp without your help.

California schools require students to pay, or fund raise, at least half of their Outdoor Science Camp tuition, which ranges from $300 to $500. By California law, if one child cannot pay or raise their tuition, the entire class can’t attend Outdoor Science Camp. On average, 30 percent of students need a $150 scholarship to attend. Scholarships are need based and classroom grants are requested by the teacher. The recipients are kept confidential and grant money is designated so that students can attend our Outdoor Science Camp.

Your donation to our Staff Housing Fund will support our efforts in providing affordable living spaces for the people who keep Alliance Redwoods thriving in Occidental, California.
